Advanced analytics
Current advanced analytics facts for Slash Social.
What it includes
Advanced analytics connects post performance, campaign context, and operational signals in the Insights work center. Admins, creators, and approvers use it to review metrics for the active brand, drill into individual posts, and export data when they need a file copy outside Slack.
How to use it
Plan access: Included on Team and Scale. Not included on Free or Starter. Those plans keep lighter briefing signals on App Home without full dashboard modals, timeframe filters, or CSV export. See Plan comparison and Usage limits.
Where to open it:
- Type
/socialand switch to Insights. - Choose Analytics or Dashboard.
- Or search for dashboard or analytics in the command palette.
What it includes:
| Area | What you can do |
|---|---|
| Dashboard | Pick 24h, 7d, or 30d windows; refresh metrics for the active brand |
| Post detail | Open post-level reach and engagement when platform sync has completed |
| Quick analytics | Open a focused analytics modal from Insights cards |
| Export | Send a CSV export to your DM |
| Learning | Tune optimization settings on eligible plans (gated separately from dashboard read access) |
Metrics depend on connected platforms returning data for the selected window. Empty sections usually mean the range is too short, the post is too recent, or the account has not synced yet.
The analytics modal supports timeframe changes and refresh without leaving Slack. Use it when you want to inspect performance before changing the plan for the active brand.
Who can use it: Admins, creators, and approvers with access to the Insights work center for the active brand.
How to confirm it is working: Published posts past the platform reporting delay show non-empty metrics for the active brand and timeframe. CSV export delivery confirms in Slack when the file is ready.
