Analytics, learning, and reports
Understand how analytics, learning, and reports works in Slash Social.
Slash Social groups performance review, adaptive tuning, and stakeholder reporting inside the Insights work center. Each layer answers a different question: what happened, what to adjust next, and what to share outside the team. Plan access varies by feature, so you may see some cards on App Home while deeper tools stay gated until you upgrade.
Overview
Analytics shows how published content performed across connected accounts. Learning turns that history into bounded recommendations for goals, tone, and fatigue handling. Client reports package results for clients and stakeholders on a one-off or scheduled basis.
Most day-to-day signals start on App Home. When you need filters, exports, or post-level detail, you move into Insights dashboards and modals. Learning and advanced analytics share the same Team and Scale gate. Client reports are available on the Scale plan.
How it works
Analytics layers
All plans include daily briefing signals on App Home. Advanced analytics on the Team and Scale plans unlocks the full Insights dashboard, timeframe filters, CSV export, and deeper post-level metrics. Open analytics from App Home Insights cards or search dashboard in /social.
The dashboard supports refresh and period views such as 24 hours, 7 days, and 30 days. You can open quick analytics from Insights actions, drill into post detail, and export CSV from the analytics modal when your plan includes advanced analytics.
Metrics depend on each platform returning data for the selected window. Empty sections usually mean the range is too short, the post is too recent, or the connected account has not returned fresh data yet.
Learning and optimization
Learning on the Team and Scale plans tunes optimization goals, tone bounds, and fatigue responses from performance history. Admins open the learning home modal and run the learning wizard to set what the brand should optimize toward. You can also adjust optimization settings and AI tone settings from Insights.
When content fatigue is detected, alert cards can suggest new ideas or let you snooze until a later review. Learning can also help resurface strong posts to another platform when you choose that action.
Learning adapts recommendations inside supervised bounds. It does not bypass approval or cadence rules.
Client reports
Client reports on the Scale plan support one-off PDF or channel summaries and recurring report schedules with delivery options. Schedule counts follow plan limits in the usage limits reference. Team plans can still use dashboard CSV export for ad hoc sharing without scheduled client report automation.
Related Insights capabilities
Several other Insights workflows build on the same performance data:
- Hashtag intelligence uses advanced analytics access to compare hashtag sets against recent performance.
- Competitive tracking on the Scale plan monitors competitor accounts and surfaces alerts you can analyze or respond to from Insights.
- Brand mentions on the Team and Scale plans tracks how your brand appears in social conversation.
Examples
Weekly performance check: You open the Insights dashboard from App Home, switch to the 7-day view, and scan top posts. A recent post underperforms, so you open post detail to compare platforms before planning the next week.
Tuning after a strong month: An admin runs the learning wizard, sets an optimization goal, and tightens tone bounds. A fatigue alert appears on a recurring topic. You generate fresh ideas from the alert or snooze it until the next planning session.
Client update: On the Scale plan, you generate a one-off PDF summary for a stakeholder call, then create a recurring report schedule so the same channel receives updates automatically.
