Lifecycle: Beta. Behavior may change.
Personas: Admin, creator, and approver roles can reschedule where their permissions allow.
How to use it
- Open App Home and switch to Plan.
- Open a post preview from the calendar, board, or queue.
- Choose Reschedule to open the smart reschedule modal, or Move to slot when you already have a target slot.
- Select a suggested time or confirm a custom slot, then submit.
Use Edit on the preview for copy or media changes. Use Delete when the item should leave the calendar entirely.
Details
Guided smart reschedule:
- Reschedules inside cadence windows for the item platform and account timezone
- Preserves item source, owner, and platform target when the new slot is valid
- Shows clear errors when the slot is occupied, the plan changed, or the item version is stale (the schedule stays unchanged)
- Rejects past date-times and missing date-time input before applying a move
The modal may suggest optimal times based on cadence rules for the item. If a suggestion fails, the item keeps its current slot until you pick a valid alternative.
