Knowledge base
Current knowledge base facts for Slash Social.
The knowledge base stores approved brand knowledge that creators and AI use for tone, facts, and reply context. Entries stay scoped to your org or brand and can be included or excluded from generation context.
What it includes
| Action | Result |
|---|---|
| Add to Knowledge Base | Add title, type, body, and scope for org or brand |
| Edit / archive | Update prose or retire entries without deleting history |
| Toggle AI | Include or exclude an entry from generation context |
| Search | Filter the hub by scope, type, and keywords |
| Link canvas | Attach a Slack canvas as a knowledge source (see Slack Canvas knowledge) |
Saved entries are used with your brand settings when Slash Social drafts content. Stale entries can produce off-brand drafts until you update them.
How to use it
- Type
/social, choose Settings, then Knowledge Base under Content. - Or open Knowledge from Create when your workspace surfaces it there.
- To save Slack message context, paste the message link or text into DM intake or the relevant create path and choose the knowledge base target when prompted.
Admins, creators, and approvers can use this feature from the Create work center. Surfaces include App Home messages, create modals, and settings modals.
Use scope filters in the hub when you manage both org-wide and brand-specific entries. Turn off AI context for entries you want stored for reference but excluded from generation. Archive retired entries instead of deleting them so history stays available.
Details
Plan access: Plan access is required. See Plan comparison for your workspace.
Lifecycle: Active.
Saved entries appear in the hub for the correct scope. A generation or reply flow that should cite the entry reflects current text after you save. Update stale entries before you rely on them for new drafts or replies.
Canvas sources: When an entry links a Slack canvas, sync from the knowledge hub or see Slack Canvas knowledge for link and scope details.
