Gap-filling suggestions

Current gap-filling suggestions facts for Slash Social.

Gap-filling suggestions find weak spots in the calendar and propose library posts, pack ideas, or manual picks before the weekly plan reaches review. This capability is in beta.

What it includes

Gap-filling runs in the Plan work center for admins, creators, and approvers.

Plan availability: Included on Starter, Team, and Scale. Not on Free. See Plans.

Coverage:

  • Suggested library matches for each empty slot in the requested range
  • Schedule, Pick different, and Schedule all for batch fill
  • Customize to filter by pillar, recency, or sort order before rerunning suggestions
  • Manual pick of specific library posts for specific slots
  • Fill from Plan when you want approved ideas from the weekly plan instead of library rotation

If a slot or post no longer exists, Slash Social leaves the calendar unchanged and shows an error.

How to use it

  1. Open the Plan work center and use gap actions from the hero or calendar.
  2. Or type /social and search for fill gaps.
  3. Review suggestions for each empty slot.
  4. Use Schedule, Pick different, or Schedule all to apply matches, or choose Manual / Fill from Plan when you want a different source.
  5. Open Browse Library from the fill-gaps flow when you want saved posts instead of automatic rotation.

Details

Gap-filling reads open slots in the requested date range and matches library posts or plan ideas before you commit schedules. The Plan hero can surface gap actions when the current week has empty days worth filling. Custom filters let you narrow by pillar, recency, or sort order and rerun suggestions without leaving the flow.

Schedule all applies every suggested match in one action. Pick different reruns suggestions for a single slot. Manual and Fill from Plan skip automatic library rotation when you already know which posts or approved ideas belong on specific days.
