Social media timeline planner

Give the launch a clear path. Work backward from a campaign launch with editable milestones, working-day deadlines, owners and two timezones. Download a calendar, printable PDF and editable plan.

A deadline everyone can see.

Start with launch. Make room for the work.

Move the launch date and your lead times follow. Keep a fixed deadline when a date is already agreed.

Your campaign

All deadlines use this clock. Changing it keeps the entered dates and times. Use a city timezone, such as America/New_York.

Lead times skip excluded dates. The launch date and fixed deadlines stay where you put them. Holidays are not added automatically.

Everything stays in this tab. Download your plan to keep editing later. Opening a plan replaces this tab’s current plan; Undo brings it back.

    The path to launch

    Your campaign timeline

    Opening the example…

    Edit milestone

Use a negative lead time for follow-up work after launch. Relative dates follow the campaign’s working-day rules.

    Give everyone the same timeline.

Calendar events are transparent 15-minute deadline markers. They do not invite people, send reminders, or schedule social posts. Your calendar app displays them in its own timezone.

    From input to finished work

How to use the social media timeline planner.

    1. Set the campaign launch date, working-day rules, and timezones for the people reviewing the plan.
    2. Work backward through the milestones. Adjust owners and deadlines to reflect the work your team actually needs to complete.
    3. Download the calendar for dated milestones, the PDF for a printable overview, and the editable plan to reopen later.

    Illustrative example

    A small task, finished.

Start with: A Friday launch with copy review three working days earlier and final approval one working day earlier.

Leave with: Tuesday and Thursday milestones under a Monday–Friday working week. Compare both timezone displays before sharing a deadline with a remote reviewer.

Before you rely on the result

    • Working-day calculations follow the rules you select; they do not know every regional holiday or your team’s leave calendar.
    • This is an ephemeral planning tool. Download the editable plan before closing the tab. Calendar files create milestones, not scheduled social posts or approval decisions.

    Keep making

    A good next step.

These tools work in your browser. Your images, drafts and plans stay on your device. Download your work before closing the tab.

    Work well together

Give the work a clear path.

Prepare the draft, check its destination, and give a reviewer the context they need. Keep the caption, image, decision, and deadline together when you move into your team’s workflow.
