From input to finished work
How to use the screenshot to text.
- Paste, drop, or select a screenshot with clear printed English text. Crop away unrelated interface elements when they are not part of the passage you need.
- Watch recognition progress, then compare the editable result with the source. Correct names, numbers, punctuation, and any missed lines.
- Copy the corrected text or download a TXT file to use in your draft or review notes.
Illustrative example
A small task, finished.
Start with: A screenshot of a short paragraph you want to quote in a review comment.
Leave with: Editable plain text that you can check against the screenshot. Correct a misread product name before copying it into the comment.
Before you rely on the result
- Recognition can miss tiny, blurred, decorative, or low-contrast text. Handwriting, complex layouts, emoji, and images without text may produce unreliable results; check the original.
- First use needs internet access to download recognition files. Recognition runs in your browser and the image is not uploaded. Images are limited to 20 MB and 40 megapixels.
