Content co-creation

Current content co-creation facts for Slash Social.

Content co-creation lets you start a Slack thread to shape draft work with teammates while keeping the final approval decision attached to the content item. This capability is in beta.

What it includes

Content co-creation threads run in the Plan work center for admins, creators, and approvers.

Plan availability: Included on Team and Scale. Not on Free or Starter. See Plans.

StepOutcome
Start sessionSlash Social posts a root message in the channel you pick and opens a topic modal when a topic is needed
Thread discussionTeammates reply in the thread to refine copy, media choices, or strategy
Tie to itemThe session stays associated with the draft so approvers can see context when they review

Sessions require an active brand. If your plan does not include co-creation, Slack shows an upgrade prompt instead of opening the session.

How to use it

  1. From an item in review, use the co-creation action when it appears for your workspace.
  2. Pick a channel and enter a topic when prompted.
  3. Discuss in the thread with teammates.
  4. Confirm the root message appears in the chosen channel and thread replies stay visible to reviewers on the linked item.

If co-creation is enabled for your plan but you do not see the action, ask your Slash Social admin to confirm plan access and brand setup.

Details

Co-creation keeps discussion in Slack while preserving the formal approval path on the linked item. Approvers can review thread context without losing the item-level approve or reject decision.
