AI planning assist
Current ai planning assist facts for Slash Social.
What it includes
AI planning assist drafts plan ideas, summarizes planning context, and suggests next actions while you keep approval control. It is in beta and may change. Admins, creators, and approvers can use it during week and day planning without giving up publish approvals.
How to use it
Plan access: Included on Free, Starter, Team, and Scale. AI output counts against your organization’s monthly AI generation limit on every plan. See Plan comparison and Usage limits.
Where you use it:
- Plan work center when you build or top up a week or day plan
- Supply step in plan generation: choose Generate with AI alongside existing ideas or placeholder slots
- Weekly Plan views and planning modals that offer AI-assisted suggestions
Generation runs in the background after Slack acknowledges your request. You get App Home or DM updates when suggestions are ready or when generation fails.
What it covers:
- Plan idea drafts grounded in brand, pillar, and cadence context
- Summaries that explain what is already scheduled before you add more
- Suggested next actions during planning (not autonomous publishing)
If generation fails, use retry paths in Create and Plan recovery surfaces.
How generation works: After you request suggestions, Slash Social uses brand details, cadence profile, and pillars to produce personalized ideas. If the AI step fails, the system can fall back to template suggestions so you still receive options in Slack.
Who can use it: Admins, creators, and approvers involved in planning for the active brand.
What it does not do: It does not publish posts on your behalf. Every draft still follows your normal create and approval path.
Suggestions arrive as notifications after generation completes so you can review them in App Home or your DM without blocking the planning modal.
