External approvals
Review current external approvals behavior, availability, limits, and operating details for Slash Social.
External approvals let you send client review packs and collect approve, change, or reject decisions from people outside your core creator group without exposing unrelated internal production context.
What it includes
External approvals are available on the Team plan. Admins, creators, and approvers can manage client records, send and track review packs, collect client decisions, and send reminders when a pack stays pending. Slack Connect shared-channel delivery is not available in the current public plan catalog.
| Area | Actions |
|---|---|
| Clients | Add or update client records and bind them to a Slack Connect channel |
| Packs | Send review packs, resubmit after internal edits, cancel stale packs |
| Decisions | Collect Approve, Request changes, and Reject from the client’s bound Slack Connect channel |
| Reminders | Send reminders when a pack stays pending |
Approved items leave the client review path. Requested changes return work to your internal team with the feedback you captured.
How to use it
- Open
/social, search for clients, and open the clients dashboard for the active brand. - Configure the client record and bind its Slack Connect channel before the first send.
- From a post in pending approval, use client approval actions when your workspace exposes them.
The client sees the approval request in the bound Slack Connect channel with working action buttons. Pack status on the clients dashboard matches what the client received. Resubmit a pack after internal edits, or cancel a stale pack, from the same dashboard.
